Calling all volunteers to teach/co-teach in a classroom
for Junior Achievement (JA) Day on Tuesday, May 1 st

Junior Achievement's mission is to "...inspire and prepare every students, no matter what their background, to reach their potential". JA programs "equip students with the tools they need to find their own success in our competitive and challenging global workforce".

JA will provide each volunteer with an age appropriate curriculum designed to provide hands-on activities. These activities teach students skills to help manage and control their finances. CCA is in need of two volunteers for each classroom.

Kindergarten and First grade volunteers will be working with students until their lunchtime at 12:20 pm. Volunteers for all other grades are needed in the classrooms until the end of the school day at 3:00 pm.
A training day for volunteers will be scheduled in April. Volunteers will receive the curriculum and will be instructed on how to implement the curriculum in the classroom.
